Hi, I’m Carlita.

I’m learning quantum mechanics and Python, writing stories, and proving that curiosity doesn’t retire.

Carlita’s Cosmos is a place for learning in public — where science, story, humor, and wonder coexist. I believe complex ideas don’t have to be intimidating, and that it’s never too late (or too early) to start asking big questions about the universe.

I’ve always been a writer. Some of my fiction—especially horror and darker speculative work—is published under the pen name C.C. Winchester. Those stories live here too, alongside reflections on learning, creativity, and the strange beauty of reality.

Outside of writing and learning, I care deeply about animals. Horses, dogs, cats, and other rescue companions have shaped my life and my stories. You’ll see them appear here from time to time, because they’re part of the cosmos I inhabit.

Carlita’s Cosmos isn’t about being an expert who has it all figured out. It’s about curiosity, clarity, and the courage to keep learning—at any age.
